Rolling Graphic Design

Not long ago I designed my very first, ever, truck wrap. It was for a delivery van that belongs to Craftsman Printing, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama. I had never designed for a truck before, but that’s one of the most fun aspects of my job…. learning new things, and applying design principles in new ways. If you live in Birmingham, you have probably seen the truck buzzing around, since Craftsman delivers all over town. Colorful and informative, it is a rolling billboard that increases brand awareness and informs potential clients about their range of services.

I produced several layouts over a period of 6 weeks to be sure that the client was completely satisfied. They wanted to emphasize their capacity to provide mailing services, so, I photoshopped in a letter flying off the end of the truck. That was fun! And, I’d like to make a special shout out of thanks to A-Square Photography for the photography of the ink cans. Couldn’t have done it without you! (Boy, I’ll tell you, printing ink is some gooey stuff!).

Have a special graphic design project on your agenda? Whether you are in Birmingham, Alabama or across the country, I’d love to brainstorm with you! Simply shoot me an email to get the conversation started!
